For a Yummy & Healthy Smoothie, I would like to share this one with you.
In the winter, I try to buy frozen fruit, mainly Berries, Mango, and Cherries. It can be a quick protein-packed breakfast or a snack. Vitamin C increases the absorption of iron. Iron is an essential component of hemoglobin, a protein that transports oxygen in red blood cells. Iron is found in fortified cereal, dried fruits (apricot, peach, plums, raisin), leafy greens (watercress, kale, spinach), lentils, red meat, white beans, dark chocolate, soybeans, tofu, sardines, cooked oysters, …A single mango has 100 percent of the daily vitamin C recommendation, which helps promote a healthy immune system, skin, and heart.
If you don’t have Cherries, just add Orange juice with the Berries.

- 2 Carrots thinly sliced
- 2 handfuls Spinach (2 cups)
- 2 teaspoon Honey (optional)
- ½ teaspoon grated Ginger
- 1 cup tart Cherry juice, or Orange juice
- 3/4 cup Coconut water
- 1 (6-ounce) container of Greek yogurt (or 2 scoops plant-based protein powder like pea or sprouted brown rice)
